✅ List of Required Documents and Upload Guidelines
1. Passport
• Upload the first four scanned pages of your valid passport.
• Ensure clarity, visibility, and a full-page scan with no cropping.
• Combine all scanned pages into one PDF file.
2. Intention to Study (Motivation Letter)
• This should be a freely written letter in English or German.
• Clearly explain:
• Why you want to study in Germany
• Why you chose this particular program and university
• Your academic and professional background
• How you plan to financially support yourself
• Mention your future goals as well
• Your language proficiency (German/English)
• Keep it concise, professional, and honest. Avoid plagiarism.

3. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Use the Europass format.
• Ensure it includes your educational background, language skills, work experience, and any certifications.
• Keep it updated and aligned with your motivation letter.

4. Birth Certificate • Upload a recent version issued by your Union Council. • Scan it clearly from top to bottom and save it as a PDF. 5. Residence Permit in Country of Application • If applying from your home country, upload: • Front and back of your National ID card in one PDF. • If applying from another country, upload your residence permit for that country.
6. Proof of Admission to a Full-Time Degree Program • Upload your university admission letter. • If the semester has already started: • Combine it with your enrollment letter and, if available, a late arrival confirmation. • If the semester hasn’t started yet, the admission letter alone is enough. 7. Proof of Language Skills • Upload one of the following: • IELTS/TOEFL certificate (for English programs) • TestDaF/DSH (for German programs) • If exempted based on previous education, upload your Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter from your university. 8. Proof of Financial Resources (Secure Livelihood) You must prove financial stability through one of the following: • Blocked Account Statement showing a deposit of at least €992 x 12 = €11,904 (as of 2024) • OR • Formal Obligation Letter (Verpflichtungserklärung) from a sponsor residing in Germany. Tip: Ensure the document is recent and clearly shows your name and the account/sponsorship details. 9. Health Insurance & Travel Insurance You must upload both: • Public or Private Health Insurance • For students under 30 get health and travel insurance with blocked account (TK, AOK, etc.) • For students over 30, choose private health insurance options like • Mawista • Travel Insurance for above 30 years • Mandatory for initial entry into Germany. • For travel insurance, Contact Us – we provide one recommended by the German Embassy Islamabad. Combine both documents into one PDF file before uploading.
10. Other Supporting Documents
• Upload all of your HEC-attested educational certificates:
• Start with the highest degree, then add the next lower ones.
• Each certificate must be:
• Front and back scanned
• Properly aligned and readable
• Combine all in one single PDF file.

• Naming Files: Use clear names like Passport.pdf, CV_Europass.pdf, Motivation_Letter.pdf
• PDF Format Only: All uploads must be in PDF unless otherwise stated.
• File Size Limit: Ensure each PDF file size is under the portal limit (typically 5–10 MB).
